Olerud Retires

According to the Times, John Olerud has decided to retire. He was one of the classiest acts ever to play ball for the Mariners. The softest hands and that sweet, sweet swing. Good luck in all your future endeavors John!

Edit: One other thing about John Olerud. When my son was younger, we used to send off baseball cards to Peoria every ST with a stamped, self-addressed envelope and ask the players to sign. Some did - some didn't - but John Olerud was always one of the good guys who signed.
