Sunday Baseball Goodness

Today was the first Sunday in many months that my barbecue grill was pressed into service. It was also the first Sunday in I don't know how long where the weather was pleasant enough to be outside and actually get some yard work done. Some of this afternoon was also taken up by Mariner baseball on TV! Although the hometown nine lost, there were a couple of good things:

  • Don't worry about Jeremy Reed. He looked very comfortable at the plate today and swung the bat with authority.
  • Kenji Johjima looks like the real deal - both behind the plate and swinging the bat.
  • Francisco Cruceta had another good relief appearance.
