After Hargrove

So who would be a good candidate to replace Mike Hargrove? Dr. Detecto says Davey Johnson. I've always liked DJ - both as a player and a manager. Why not?

Edit: And just who is John Rheinecker? And how did he throw a CG 4 hit shutout against the M's? On second thought, never mind. I don't want to know.

Another edit: Good stuff from the P.I. blog today by John Hickey who suggests that it's time to shuffle the lineup. Indeed.

I've always liked Davey Johnson too, but I think he's really retired, doesn't want to manage, especially a team like the M's.
Dan Rohn is the most obvious choice. Pat Borders or Edgar Martinez are two choices with no experience, but how much worse could they do?

Yeah - realistically Rohn may be the guy. I'm hoping that the FO makes a move soon - it make take them a really long time to recapture the fanbase if they wait much longer.
