Watching a Mariners game these days is just like riding a rollercoaster. The game in San Diego Saturday evening was no exception. A few quick impressions:

  • Moyer can probably keep pitching until he's 50 if he feels like it.
  • Where would this team be without Raul Ibanez?
  • Eddie Guardado is not only done, he's really done.
  • J.J. managed to overcome a lot of adversity to strike out the side and end the Padre rally.
  • Nobody makes that barehand play better than Adrian Beltre.
