Bad Call

Yeah, there was definitely a bad call made in NYC last night. It was made by Mike Reilly, but it's probably not the one that you may be thinking of. Although it's true that Reilly blew a call at 1B (as evidenced by replay), that's just a part of the game and can't be helped. I think Reilly's more serious error last night was allowing the game to continue as long as he did in the driving rain. It was pretty clear that Putz was having a hard time gripping the ball. And with the game on the line, the prudent thing would have been to suspend play until the rain let up.
