Five Days

So ends one of the longest weeks of the off-season. But there is a light on the horizon. Pitchers and catchers report in five days. Music to the ears of every baseball fan at this time of year. The gloom of Winter gives way to the promise of Spring. Time will tell if Bill Bavasi is a genius or an idiot - but at least the process will begin soon. I think it's a safe bet that the 2007 club will produce more runs than the 2006 version. It's also a safe bet that the defense will continue to perform well. Pitching will be the key. Let's keep our fingers crossed.

Update: I'm not the only one. See Geoff Baker's piece in The Times.

I love the blog that you have. I was wondering if you would link my blog to yours and in return I would do the same for your blog. If you want to, my site name is American Legends and the URL is:

http://www.americanlegends.blogspot.com

If you want to do this just go to my blog and in one of the comments just write your blog name and the URL and I will add it to my site.

Thanks,
Mark
