So Far, So Good

You know, I'm really hesitant to say this too loudly, but I'm pretty happy with the way the Mariners are playing ball right now. Despite several key injuries, the club seems to be hanging in there. I'm especially pleased with how Felix and Silva are pitching. All in all things are good - just don't say it too loudly!

I would be inclined to say the same thing before this angels series, though the first game was 1 run, but they seem to be back to their old ways with regards to situational hitting. Sorry to put a damper on things, but I'm excited for the lineup to be the way it was envisioned at the beginning of the year. Friday's game wouldn't have been that bad except for the 1st inning for the A's. It took Dickey 1 inning to feel comfortable, and after that he was lights out. The Bullpen's holding their own also. So lots of good to go with some bad.

Ya Know, rally killer has been crushin the ball lately. Of course it is a contract year for him, so your thoughts on whether or not the M's try and keep him after this year or let him walk. It makes my stomach a little queasy thinking about them trying to extend his contract. Maybe he's hitting so good by the trade deadline that the M's get a few prospects for him! I know, not a chance of that happening, but a nice thought though.
