It's official, Bill Bavasi was dismissed by the Mariners today. Long overdue. This is just the start of many changes to come - thankfully it has finally begun!
You wouldn't think that Bavasi would go before McLaren, but according to cbssports.com, it's likely that part of the reasoning is his making the players sit in the locker room last week and be accountable for their lackluster play. I hate when that happens. It's definitely time for a change, and McLaren needs to be next as he just can't seem to get this team on the right track. After all, a sweep at home against the Nationals just about says it all. They've hit rock bottom. Question is, do they get another recycled MLB coach, or a new face. Guess we'll see.
